There are two types of laser treatments: ablative and non-ablative. The Ablative treatment destroys the surface layer of skin which means more recovery time; non-ablative lasers don’t destroy the first layer but penetrates below to stimulate new cell generation. Depending on your specific needs and/or preferences, your doctor will recommend the best laser treatment for you.

How does the technology work?
High-intensity infrared light is penetrated through your skin using a nozzle. The temperature causes your skin to contract which produces collagen. This production causes your skin to naturally heal itself, creating a smoother appearance. You will see instant results following the treatment, but the final improvements will be visible over the next six months.
